Who we are
Spark Solutions is the controller of the personal information described here. Our registered company details are set out in every proposal we send, and we will give them to you on request. You can contact us about your information through the booking page on this site, or by replying to any email from us.
What we collect
What you give us: your name, email address, phone number and business details when you book a meeting, fill in a form or buy a package, and anything you tell us about your project.
If you have a client account: your sign in details and the messages, files and approvals you share in your dashboard.
Payments: card payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive a record of the payment, not your card details.
Technical information: like most sites, the servers that host this one may record your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
To reply to you, arrange meetings, prepare quotes, do the work you have asked for, take payment, send you updates about your project, and keep proper business records.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law we rely on: the contract with you (to do the work and take payment); our legitimate interests (to run and improve the studio, and to reply to enquiries); legal obligations (such as keeping accounts); and your consent, where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.
Outside the UK
Some of these services may store information outside the UK. When they do, we make sure it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, and project and account information, for as long as we need them for the purposes described here, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Financial records we keep for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to limit or stop using it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Ask us through the booking page or by replying to any email from us, and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page, and tell you directly if the change affects how we use information you have already given us.
